This privacy policy notice is served by Design Prosthetics Ltd under the website; www.designprosthetics.co.uk. The purpose of this policy is to explain to you how we control, process, handle and protect your personal information through the business and while you browse or use this website. If you do not agree to the following policy you may wish to cease viewing / using this website, and or refrain from submitting your personal data to us.

• We are exempt from registration in the ICO Data Protection Register because currently we only process your personal data manually.

Where our purpose for processing is: To physically assess, record and monitor your mobility, general fitness and progress under the care of Design Prosthetics Ltd. To maintain up to date contact details.
Which is necessary because: Recording and monitoring allows us to audit your success against agreed standards and to inform you of any issues directly relating to the product(s) you have received. 
We process your information in the following ways: A written record of attendance and intervention, including all technical and clinical data; stored in a locked filing system within a locked room.
Data retention period: We will continue to process your information under this basis until you withdraw consent or it is determined your consent no longer exists, which is usually after seven years.

Sharing your information: 
Occasionally we will be required to provide your name and mobility level to the supplier of client-specific components in order to honour warranty criteria. We will inform you if this is the case when discussing appropriate prescription(s) and prosthetic build.

If, as determined by us, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.
